We’ve got the first night game of the spring on top later today. Yay!
To celebrate we’ve got lots planned. What you ask? Well, just flip the page guys and dolls.
Here’s our thought:
1. It’s been a week since we’ve live-blogged/chatted. So, if you are at home, watching (on FSN Southwest) or listening (KRLD-105.3 FM “The Fan”) to the game against the hated Arizona Diamondbacks, why don’t you set your computer up and join us for some hi-jinks/serious baseball talk. You can post questions right on the end of this post and I’ll try to address them throughout the game.
2. We hope to get some kind of report from Nancy “The Diamond Girl” Nichols, our SideDish pal who hit the ground in Surprise this morning. She may have a few choice tidbits on food and her observations of baseball in general, so check that out here and there.
3. We are hoping to have a super special surprise interview for you later today. I mean this is a dream come true for me. And I’m not making that up. So feel free to take guesses here. I’ll see if I can come up with a prize for somebody who might possibly get it right (in the event of a tie, any prize will be selected via a drawing).
There’s your schedule. Come back and see us, mon. Don’t turn that computer off at night.
Nolan Ryan will be the surprise interview
My guess for your dream interview is CJ Wilson.
The heart-crushing villain from Indiana Jones?
Easy peasy…Jimmy B.
What is my prize, EG?
The Sonic chick is stopping by?
tball beat me to the punch
I’m guessing the Sonic girl also Molly Erdman.
The quad resting Michael Young?
Gary Coleman
Another vote for Sonic girl.
I agree — it’s Molly.
I say Sonic Chick too. But if it was my dream interview it’d be Julio Franco. ijs
No baseball tonight..LOST
Dream Guest: Bob Horner
Question: Why has Busby been doing the broadcasts in spring training the last couple weeks? Where did Dave Barnett go?
I think Barnett has been doing college roundball
Kenny Rogers and Tom Hicks huggin it out live
Dream interview? That would be a teary eyed Kevin Millwood announcing his retirement.
But I think it is that sonic chick
Evan has already interviewed Molly, so my guess would be Jimmy Buffet. However, since someone else already guessed him, I’ll go with Vin Scully.
Crap! Just reread the headline of the entry and figured that Bob Seger would have been a decent guess…
Nice guess Lemeer.
