hmmm… I doubt he will get a chorus of boo’s here.
I am looking forward to the flyover, was there any word of what that will be?

Hicks is at it again. First he has Palin drop a puck at a Stars game and now this. Next he’ll have Cheney do a coin flip for his soccer team, of course the flip will take place in a secret bunker away from the game. Maybe he should bring someone out with decent approval ratings.

Say what you want about Bush the president, but I’ll always remember when he threw out the first pitch at the 2001 World Series right after 9/11. This was for me, his greatest greatest moment.
The whole nation was on edge, worried about more attacks, and generally uncomfortable about going back to the daily grind.
Then Bush, walks out to the mound (all the way to the rubber mind you), passes the “kiddie spot”, gives a thumbs up to the crowd, and delivers a strike–I mean a good throw, with some movement.
The rest of his presidency is definitely polarizing, but at that moment, he played the president perfectly.
It’s a good idea…A former President and Governor of Texas and one associated with the club…Like him or hate him just bear with it
Like Robert Wuhl says, the best thing President Bush does, He can throw strikes

Hey maybe he’ll do a pre-game interview on the big screen and tell about the party with Clemons, A-Rod, the blondes, the steroids, and the blow. Now that would be worth buying a ticket to see. Probably a little side session on perfecting the lie.

Here’s a vid of what I’m speaking of
What a terrible, terrible idea. No matter your political persuasion, you have to recognize just how bad an idea this is.
