Another edition of award-winning viral video. We’ve also got some Jason Jennings still available for you. And a big heaping helping of Tommy Hunter. As always, much thanks to writer, producer and medical consultant Ted Price of Rangers Podcast in Arlington.
Greatness Evan! The best yet! Keep um coming!
OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG!!!
Lemon is so dreamy.
The guy’s gonna have a long major league career.
Best of luck to him.
PS These are great, Evan! Keep ‘em coming!
How can you not love that kid? Great diposition.
Keep ‘em coming, Evan & Ted!
Very nice Evan. Thanks for turning out a quality product for us Ranger fans.
Great stuff as usual.
Question for ya, EG. Is he the type of talent that would warrant the Rangers to ask Kinsler to move to LF in 2-3 years, or do you see him being a big part of a trade package to get an arm at some point?
What a great guy. I was at a Class A Bakersfield game last week and the guy next to me was in the Booster Club. He said 3 or 4 times (unsolicited) that everyone in the Booster Club there just loved Lemon last year and was still following him and rooting for him. You can really see why in this video.
Lemon seems to be a polarizing player, either you believe in his makeup, or you scrutinize his numbers and lack of anything spectacular. I think this early season in Frisco is bringing some of the naysayers to his side of the camp. Hopefully he keeps it up.
Sean, what on Earth are you talking about? Some of his biggest supporters are guys who live and die by the numbers. There’s nothing in his statistical profile that screams to me that he can’t get better. He’s a LD hitter with a low GB rate, that bodes well for more XBH power later in his career. It’s the guys that go by eye tests that usually aren’t believers in Lemon.
Evan,
If M. Lemon has a big league future ahead of him, is it with the Rangers or another team?
Love the interviews Evan. Keep them coming
From Sean –
or you scrutinize his numbers and lack of anything spectacular.
Yeah, I scrutinize his .545 Batting Average and 1299 OPS and just can’t find anything spectacular. If only he could hit 700, we might have something to talk about around here.
Seems like a class act with great pedigree……so does he move Kinsler to LF?
Man, that seems like a good dude right there.
Evan, Ted, just wanted to say I love these videos and I hope they’re getting the hits necessary for them to keep coming. Absolutely one of my favorite features of the site.
There is no seems to be a good dude when it comes to Marcus. He IS a good dude and will be a phenominal ballplayer in the bigs. The way he is playing in Frisco right now it won’t be long ’til he sees the major league ballclub. When everyone mentions moving Kinsler to left field to accomadate Smoak at first, Young back to second and Davis at third I always scuffed at the idea. Never thought it would happen nor should happen. And I still don’t believe it should work out that way to fit Smoak in Arlington. Though I do think it would be a good move to shift Kinsler into LF purely for this guy. He gains more propls from me than Smoak ever will. Lemon is the real deal gents. Not to mention the ladies will fall to their knees for those dreamy eyes of his. That wasn’t a gay comment, btw.
Evan, et al. Keep these videos coming. Very nice insight to these particular players.
This is going to sound outrageous, but I met Marcus when he was playing in Clinton, and spent some time with him when he was still playing in Iowa. Evan, any way you can put me in contact with him, or even vice versa? Willing to try to help me out at all? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!!
