Don't we need a SEAMHEAD Creed? You know, something that describes our dedication to Diamonds that do not glisten (Are there any other kind?) Something like: A true SEAMHEAD will endure all obstacles, listen to several radios with A.M. at all angles and positions, watch multiple TVs and monitor several computers or websites to gather every score, K and BB. He will keep a running total in his head of what every hit means to both Average and Pitcher's ERA. He will miss meals (But not many,) delay a trip to the fridge or sit in Bleacher seats to watch a game. He will call his friends, post his blog, find appropriate and inappropriate Gee-Whiz information about relevant baseball teams, players and games. He will share all rumors and make up some based on probablilty that only another SEAMHEAD can possibly follow. He will NEVER Desert his Post. A True SEAMHEAD is DIEHARD horsehide with stitches in his forehead where he once played 3rd base for an inning and tried charging line drives. He no longer plays but remembers vividly every nuance of Diamond lore. He will be buried with Deleware River Mud rubbed into his face. He will never forget the day he went 3 for 3 in Little League and is sure somehow that is relevant in the world of Major League baseball. He still has his first baseball card collection.

tunbleweed- AMEN Lewin has driven me and mine off the TV more than once. It's TV, we can see, he doesn't have to fill the air with all his drivel. GO Tom, someone who knows baseball. I don't want to be "entertained" I want to be informed with intelligent comments.

Can not take any more of "Josh L" he just runs off at the mouth without saying anything that has to do with the game. He thinks he has to one-up any comment from TAG. Please take the lap top away from him so we will not have to listen to all his comments that he reads from the screen.

I almost always get the visiting feed on my cable........
1. Number one team in AL so far has to be Baltimore.....worst broadcast is the Rangers because it seems they never focus on the nuances or strategy of the game and I don't need to see which group drove the farthest and who the bus driver is........
2. Number one team in NL is San Francisco....they teach you the game and they do it without sounding arrogant...and they do it despite a team that can't hit anything.......lot a class in their broadcast....

@Becca: I agree. To me, it stings just a little bit more because to me when a Rangers' starter goes 7 and gives up just 4 runs, it's a game the Rangers should/have to win.

Oh well, like you said, hopefully it balances out.

which i think is wild, doug. i mean, sheesh aren't we leading the league in homers and doubles.... when the pitching's great, we can't get behind it... but even when the bats are on, pitching is take a day off. it's got to balance out eventually. not to sound negative, but that's the exact same thing i thought last year. no worries. i have hope!

What is that, two runs the Rangers have scored in Millwood's last two starts?

He's pitched well but just hasn't had the support to back him up.

@Inky - yes, this is Jones' first time at first. At least that's according to Josh and TAG, and who am I to argue?
