What if you threw a happy hour party and everybody came? Last night Evan pulled off a great show over at Pappadeaux on Oak Lawn—over 350 folks turned up to meet and greet Michael Young, Ian Kinsler, Marlon Byrd, Scott Feldman, Taylor Teagarden, and Chris Davis. Long-time Rangers radio guy Eric Nadel stopped in for a surprise visit. InsideCorner’s ace photographer R.P. Washburne was there and sends a few pictures. You might as well jump.

Evan Pulled it off. It was great! Even had dinner with him afterward. Thanx Evan!

How cool is it that these players showed up for this? A lot of baseball players seem pretty full of themselves but when you have a couple of all-star caliber players showing up to mingle with fans for free, that is saying something. I wasn’t there but thanks to Marlon, Michael, Ian, Scott, Taylor and Chris.

E.G. Marshalled a 76 Trombone like Big Parade. That is the way you build Critical Mass for any new project. Congrats Evan and D Magazine, Texas Rangers, etc. Somedays you draw to a Pair and end up with a Boat. Good Team Record, Weather cleared up, Great guests. I love it when a plan comes together. Take a bow, Fearless Leader!

I had a great time and it was cool to meet you, too, Nancy (I was one of the purse-sitters).
Evan, you did a great job and I am looking forward to future events!

Way to go evan,Putting one of these together is tough enough but to get players to come out is really cool.
You would think it would be fairly easy to get some bench guys to come out but to get so many of the top players is really something.
I tip my hat to the players for coming out and talking to the fas in the middle of the season is something I would like to see more of.
