    Please tell me he didn’t have a chaw in his mouth…….to me igmoring the tobacco drug ban is a big deal in the message sent to kids….

    The tobacco ban prevents clubhouse managers from distributing it to the players. It does not prevent players from getting their own.

    I’m pretty sure they’re sunflower seeds. He said he just quit chewing tabacco with a couple other players

    @Evan,
    I like the tag. “Evan looking silly”. However you only “look silly” in some of the videos. What constitutes a silly look from evan?

    If they are indeed sunflower seeds then the next Viral Video should have Andrus with a mouth full of sunflowers (or more than Wash usually has) And shouldn’t he have one of those plastic dog guards to keep the seeds from flying too far…….

    ps: I think MLB has to be very careful not to project a tobacco friendly image to fans…..for some in the cancer survivor community the drug tobacco is a big red flag……..
