Josh Hamilton Update Is There Is No Update

Josh Hamilton had an MRI today on his groin/abdomen area, but no results were made available. He will see Dr. John Preskitt, a sports hernia specialist on Tuesday before the club makes any decisions about a DL move or waiting things out. It is clear Hamilton was in significant pain after Sunday’s game. He had to kind of swing his leg outward to walk. My guess: DL, but that’s a pure guess. Simply can’t risk having the guy play at a subpar pace for a couple of weeks – and risk losing him for longer.

It is likely he hits the DL tomorrow. I will be watching the OKC boxscore tonight to see who is missing. Boggs?

I agree wholeheartedly. Discretion is the better part of valor. I would like to see Josh right in August, and not have nagging injuries all season. The other 4 outfielders are playing well right now, so sit Josh down and get him right physically.

Any chance we get Smoak called up on this one?

After reading where the new yankee stadium is like a pinball machine, I don’t want to play Hammy if it will make his trade value decrease for the Yankees…….Now is the perfect time to bring up a new young center fielder…..either of our two anywhere close to bringing up so we can slide Hammy to right and Cruz over to left?
@evan Is anyone in the Rangers organization screaming to move Josh over now?

@ghost we’re just going to have to open a gallon size jar of noodles (soggy, limp with that special noodle slime) and just bitchslap you as opposed to the electric shock treatments your family has been considering…..ok now, stiff upper lip and move on ghost………
