Dirty, do you know his history?
He pouts and doesnt play all out when things dont go his way.
A message that he is not the greatest player in the game could help him realize he still needs to work even though he is extremely talented.

19 yr olds in High-A don’t need to be “taught a lesson.” Some would argue that getting roughed up by kids that are on average 3 to 4 years older is lesson enough. Allow Beltre to have the rest of this year and another half year in High-A next year before we start trying to send any messages, eh?

Beltre has some growing up to do, Haveing a subpar year might be good for him, bring him back to earth a little.
I wouldnt be opposed to sending him down to hickory the last month of the season to send a message and see how he responds.

I hope that Pimental develops more quickly than Beltre, who seems to have run into a brick wall in high A.

It would be confusing it you used the combined stats, you would have to look at 2-3 teams to get the total and you could have a guy like smoak that was lights out in AA and is struggling to start AAA.
If you looked at the combined it would appear he was still killing the ball .

Malone: yes, only the new league. I’m not sure whether it’s practiced by others.

Brett: I talked to Daniels about that and he said that they won’t release the list until they’ve passed the physicals.

Again, sorry about not mentioning Smoak or Davis.
