UFC 100 Live Blog Tonight

I’m doing it. Don’t try to stop me. By the demand of at least 5 (but fewer than 10), we are doing the UFC 100 live blog here tonight, at the same exact time Evan live blogs the M’s-Rangers.

    I’m glad you are doing it, but mostly because I’m interested in the scientific experiment that ensues: If a live blog is held for a subject that few people care about at the same time as a live blog is held for a subject that only RECENTLY have a few people cared about, does the result make it the most pathetic collection of people on the internet ever.

    The experiment is made even more interesting by factoring in the “patheticness of the live blog occurring on a Saturday night.”

    Sturminator, I’m actually going to the dark side. I told a buddy of mine I’d go to a sports bar with him to see the bout tonight. Figured I could watch the Rangers and the fight at the same time. It will be my first UFC experience. So I’m leaving Big Mac in the minority.

    Things to look for tonight -

    1. UFC 103 CONFIRMED details. Bob, I’ll be your buddy for that PPV in the HANGAR!!!!

    2. Countless butt-kissing moments for Dana.

    3. Celebrities. I’m gonna go ahead an predict a Shaq sighting and prolly a Faber one too.

    4. An early stoppage that’ll piss a lot of us off.(Bisping/Heno maybe?)

    5. Coleman’s last match in UFC. Hang em up, buddy.

    I’m predicting a Reno Mero “Sable” Lesnar sighting tonight. That for me would be the only reason to tune in. Otherwise, I’ll just wait for Monday night RAW and watch Cena. You know, pro wrestling, the only sport to never have a gambling scandal.

    Ready for UFC 100! Watching the Spike Preview Show and I gotta say, any countdown show that allows the “fans” to pick #1 is just chicken in that they if the some fans don’t like the #1 fight or think it was #1, it’s their fault….
