Don’t really have much more than that. Vallejo cleared trade waivers and will join the Houston organization. The Rangers sent RHP Matt Nevarez to Houston earlier in the week.

Bummer! I was pretty high on Vallejo despite his struggles this year.

Bonanza for the Astros. First they get Duran on waivers, then pick up Nevarez and Vallejo. For a system as thin as theirs all 3 of these guys probably see the big leagues at some point.
