Hank and Ian both have big swing disease. I have been coaching little league for years and see it all the time. I know it may sound trite but watch their heads when they swing. It happens real fast, but both jerk their heads around the split second before the ball arrives. Their swings are so violent right now they can’t maintain focus. Hanks head moves from a vertical position to an horizontal one. When he stayed straight and let his back shoulder turn his head he was hitting. BTW Josh does this too some. He hides it better but the DVR tells all. At moment of impact the head should be looking at the ball. If you head is flopping around like a dead chicken you just can’t see the ball to make the last second adjustment necessary. Little league 101.

I think Blaylock and Jones caught the “Strike-out or Homer” disease from Davis. Hopefully, Davis found a cure in OKC. I like Blaylock a lot, but that dude has sucked recently. I HATE to see him come up to bat because I know it ain’t gonna’ be good. Ditto for Jones.

Jones. DL him for 15 days now. He is still eligible for the playoff roster. Teams carry fewer pitchers in the post-season due to off-days, so that leaves room for a couple of extra position players. AJ, Hank, Chris, Julio – they can all play.

I want to jump on the Rudy sucks bandwagon. Very disturbing comments i.e. Jones/Cruz. Totally unbelievable, but I guess they do have to believe and in a pennant stretch veterans hold some sway.

It seems logical that one reason to wait this long to announce is because a consensus has not been reached. Not everyone is on board with what has been proposed. Either they are looking to sell or trade or fear DFA. Another Padilla to get someone across the line would not be cool if in fact that is what happens with The Dodgers and Padilla.
I don’t think Wash wants to let anyone go.

@alan…Right there with you. I don’t think Rudy has the ability to work the kinks out with young players, ie: Chris Davis. I also listened to the Rangers podcast today and they were discussing something that worried me. Wash’s and Rudy’s lack of trust in Cruz and overtrust in Jones. Just don’t get it.
