Rangers Place Andruw Jones on D.L.

According to a text from Evan, Andruw Jones has been placed on the disabled list with a hamstring strain.

With that hammy and davis coming up this was the only move that made sense.

How important is it for Davis to give MY a day off in the next few weeks? Even though he’s hot, Young hasn’t gotten a breather in a looooooooooooong time. Davis seems better fit to give him a day off than Visquel, but either would work. I think it should happen on the next home stand in the Texas heat.

Even letting MY DH for 1 game might keep him fresher for the stretch run.

great move. i still think jones can be a valuable pinch hitter down the stretch once he comes back refreshed
