Michael Young Remains Absent from Rangers Lineup, but Homer Pool Rolls on

hrpool2Michael Young’s left hamstring is still sore so he’s going to miss tonight’s game against Los Angeles. Instead, the Rangers will go with:

2B Ian Kinsler, SS Elvis Andrus, LF David Murphy, DH Andruw Jones, CF Marlon Byrd, RF Nelson Cruz, 1B Chris Davis, C Ivan Rodriguez, 3B Esteban German and pitching for the Rangers … RHP Tommy Hunter.

    Maybe we should lower expéctations here given the recent offensive prowess of the team and shoot for the first hit of the game in place of the first homer. If Oakland can shut them out 2 of 3 with a 1 hitter, that could almost be extrapolated to L.A. throwing three no hitter perfect games. Please let me be very wrong.
