I get tired of hearing people talk how dissapointing Marty B has been…how the Cowboys offense sucks…etc. etc. Well, thanks Bob for pointing out that this isn’t the case. Also, as shown by your turnover chart, the Cowboys have won despite themselves. If they can correct the turnover/penalty problems, then their offense can carry them this year.

Nice read Bob. I’ve been posting why they haven’t targeted Marty B in the passing game with both Roy and Felix out. I guess they’ve been so effective running with him in.

Bob, I watch Hamlin play, and he stinks, in my opinion. Then I watch the Bengals play and Roy Williams is all over the field. What gives? Is this just scheme/coaching?

I’ve told people, such as yourself, that Bennett is playing well because of his blocking. I think your prediction of Marty catching 50 balls was almost absurd. Remember, 50 catches for a TE is a really good season. We as football fans have just gotten accustom to TEs like Witten, Gates, and Gonzales catching 100 balls.

Marty has been missed in the passing game because he’s the second TE. I think once he is looked at as the hot route, we’ll see some of his athleticism come into play.
