Andrew,
what country do we live in where opposing points of view are met with absurd derision? As to LSB, while posters there are typically informed they do not typically embrace outside the echo chamber thought. Their right to do so.

The fact is that Josey Wales and I are 100% diametrically opposed in our views concerning Daniels, payroll, and the current state of the Rangers organization. We’ve never had a cross exchange, ever.

Be open minded and respectful,- receive it in return. Your post says much more about you than it does JW.

JD has done a masterful job of rebuilding the Rangers’ front office, scouting, and farm systems. He is on the verge of long term on-field success. 2010 would be too soon for him to move to a bigger market. Check back in 2-3 years.

Daniels certainly is a top tier talent. I’m sure he would be on a short list for any opening, were he available. When he oversees the Rangers return back to the playoffs, he will be able to set his market. Nothing is guaranteed but there’s a lot to like with where the baseball operation is today.
